Went to see them last night and the pits weren't massive either, you have to realise the majority of Obituarys audience are up there in terms of age, most of them would rather stand and headbanging than go crazy in the pit, I'm 36 myself and seemed like I was the youngest person there last night

His solos are mediocre at best. A 5 yo could play them. Yes very effective! For its time! Ken Andrews blows James Murphy out of the water as a guitar player. Just watch my tribute to Death on my channel. You can see how forgetful and LAME Murphy is. As a player.

Obituary is the top 3, and no particular order, best death metal bands I've ever seen live. My favorite was the Complete Control tour i think it was called? 1992. Lawrence Kansas. I accidentally ruined a song because my foot got tangled in John's mic cable and tore it out of the jack itself. I did the walk of shame to the back of the venue... sorry John...hahahaha!

Hell yeah, I agree. I saw them headlining on the tour Immolation was on and both of those bands are incredible live and in my top 5 live performances ever seen.

Trev's hair is in excellent condition, this is the most likely reason for the lack of mosh pit, they're just staring at the marvel and then John walks on the it's too much amazingly conditioned hair within 40 square metres.
