Some of that matchmaking, notably the later battle on Canal where 5 allies did under 1000 damage, was just as prevalent under the old matchmaking. I'm inclined to believe that, being a new account, you don't get the new matchmaking, or rules are relaxed, as WG said they would if matching took too long. What we need is balanced MM, not the volatile old MM or the unpopular new MM. By balanced I mean varied skill levels on a team, with the enemy team matching that correspondingly. The skill level could be roughly groups of low, average and high, and picking from that. This balancing would apply to platoons too. A combined 130% platoon should face a similar one, not a 90% combined one, which almost guarantees a steamroll.
