I think it’s funny how they put it at 8.7 thinking it would change things. It should be at 10.3 so it’s not just point click kill. Oh, and I killed an object 279 with an IS-6 through cupola in 1 shot

The armor is pretty trolly, i shot one right at the back of the turret with my leo heatfs and it didn’t pen

I just point blank blasted one using a KPz with the missile twice in the turret and nothing.

i shot it with my t54 at the back of its turret and hoooooraaaa i killed it but frontal assault wont work on that beast...i really hate that tank ...its just a luck that i killed it because he didnt notice me....and its fast

I am using vickers mbt, only tank i have now in rank 5. And I hate to play against this aluen abomination tank. Correct me if i wrong but it the hardest tank to destroy in game

fighting that thing with 7.7 BR tanks are pain in the ass....that thing is a tough nut to crack...i only killed 1 of that and i shot it at the back of the turret using T54...and thats a lucky shot

Thank you! I'm glad to help. I used a lot of time getting this tank and found that it was easy for me to kill other Object 279s, but not easy for them to get me. I did some research and figured out I was getting lucky with hitting some of the "weak spots" on the tank. Figured everyone should know where to shoot!

The only tank in the game everybody hates to verse. i hope gaijin comes to their senses and nerfs it or puts it in a higher br 9.0 would fit it perfectly in my opinion you wil still verse it at 8.0 but not as much.

To be fair, I find it difficult to really take advantage of a lot of the weak spots in match because of how the armor is laid out. Besides that, the speed of combat makes it tough, but I'm sure I've helped secure a few extra kills against the Object 279 for some people.

Recently they gave it a penetration buff it didn't need, it's also stupid how this thing has such a low repair cost for being an OP tank while tanks like the Lorraine 40t or Conqueror have 20k+ repair costs.

well it used to bounce off of 7.3 heavy lower plates, so I guess I can understand the pen buff, but now it curb stomps entire teams. I got a 16 kill game yesterday by simply charging to A and wiping the entire enemy team pushing there. It's a lower plate monster now.
