Why not use polarisation filters to get rid of light reflections?

Yes, that will definitely help. I've seen quite some examples of successfull cases, but I havent had the chance to experiment with polarisation filters extensively myself. For the vessel I use as an example in this video, I did eventually get a polarisation filter on my camera lens, but that didnt cure all reflections. Cross-polarisation would probably fix some more.
