Indesign CC - Please, can I use GREP to find an object (text box) by location in GREP? My text boxes moved. They are out of place. Thanks.

Unfortunately, GREP in InDesign isn't designed to search for objects based on their location. GREP is powerful for finding and manipulating text content, but it doesn't have functionalities to directly target objects like text boxes. Here are some alternative approaches to find your misplaced text boxes in InDesign CC: 𝟭. 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹: Open the Layers panel (Window > Layers). Look for layers specifically dedicated to text boxes. Common naming conventions might include "Text boxes," "Content boxes," or something similar. Click the visibility icon next to the layer name to show or hide all text boxes within that layer. 𝟮. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 > 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀: Click on a single text box that you can locate. Go to the Edit menu > Select > All Similar Objects. This will select all text boxes in the document that share the same formatting characteristics as the one you clicked. 𝟯. 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 (𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝘅𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀): Open the Pages panel (Window > Pages). Click on each page thumbnail and visually scan for the misplaced text boxes. You can zoom in and out using the Zoom tool (Z) to get a better view. While these methods might not pinpoint the exact location you remember, they can help you narrow down the search and find your misplaced text boxes more efficiently.
