Oblivion Infinite Level Up Glitch

I honestly didn't think it was gonna work or that I was going to do something wrong somehow (I always do something wrong no matter the simplicity of the task) but to my surprise it worked and I now know an infinite glitch to level up a lot faster. Thank you Sir Deakon.

Why wouldn't mine do this. I even saved, then did the sleep, had it set up to 4 hrs, but all it did was send me to a previous saved file. Why would it do that, what did I do wrong.

I'm using the Xbox 1 S, not sure if that even matters. I have other saved files. What I do my progress level is full and I was going to sleep for 5 hrs just to get that started, but in that midsleep, open up the loading screen and go to another saved file. I clicked on it and it didn't bring up the Skills at all. What did I do wrong, or won't it work on Xbox 1 consoles. I didn't have any problems when I used the X box 360, but I have no power cable brick and no controllers to use it.

This ended up backfiring on me. I leveled up during the siege of Kvach in the beginning. As we were making our way to the guard tower I slept in the chapel and did the glitch up to level 10 (from level 3). Thought it was cool until I ran outside and leveled Dremora and Fire Atronachs were everywhere and slaughtered the NPC's with me. Also my low level weapons did little damage to any enemies - it sucked. I reloaded and bumped up to level 4 and left it alone. Much easier.

This stops working after you max out your attributes, such as strength, luck, or agility. you will just receive a message about not improving on perfection, and you wont be able to level up your character anymore, even if you try to do it organically.

You should try a max level run only level attributes by 1 and when you're skills reach 100 go to jail to lower them again think max level is over 200

@@kilato9649 max lvl isnt 50 I have been playing since the game first released u don't reach max lvl until all attributes r fully maxed I have maxed out all attributes n skills through a long long grind u don't stop leveling until everything is maxed if u just sit there with a hammer fixing ur armor over n over again u will lvl up just by leveling attributes a certain amount of times not sure what the actual cap is cause I haven't been on that system in yrs oblivion isn't like Dragonball XenoVerse where u r limited on skill points the only limit on skill points in oblivion is once everything is maxed

@@kilato9649 Max level is somewhere between 100-140, as the lowest an attribute can normally get is 30 which means you'd need to level 70 times minimum to max such an attribute with the lowest modifier. The problem is you can normally only level up a maximum of 52 times and only if all your major skills start at 25, the only way to level up past that is by decreasing a major skill, which can be achieved by serving jail time which will select a random set of skills and level them down.

As tempting as it is to "level up infinitely" this glitch will harm you in long run more than help. Your character does have a cap in Oblivion in terms of power. His skill and attributes cap out at 100 (if you don't include the felldew glitch) and they will not get anymore effective past that cap. Your enemies however will continue to become more effective even if you can't. So if you go forth with this glitch however far you want, you will inevitably have imbalanced enemies to your stats.

@Curtis Wayne if you wanna get ahead of the curve you can follow this guide on how I max out my characters in Oblivion: 1. Pick the Thief birthsign. This gives you a +10 to speed and agility but most importantly also luck. Since luck has no skills and doesn't get a bonus when you level up, this is basically like getting 10 free levels worth of luck increasing. If you dont care about luck then pick the Warrior sign and get a +10 to your strength and endurance. Or the Lady if willpower is a bigger priority than strength. 2. Create your own class and pick luck as a favored attribute. This will increase it by another 5. Now you only need to level up 35 times to max out luck instead of 50 times. Again if you don't like luck, pick something else. 3. Everytime you level up, you want to achieve a +5 bonus to your attributes. Do this by picking a skill for each attribute you want to increase and level it up by 10. +5 is the maximum possible attribute increase so if you level the skills anymore than 10 you will get no more bonuses. IMPORTANT: in order to do this correctly, you increase 2 minor skills and then 1 major skill by 10 each. Minor skills, while not counting towards your character's level up, still count towards the attribute increase when they do level up. You have to increase the minor skills first though as any skill increases will roll over to the next level if your character has already leveled up. If you plan on maxing out luck, only worry about 1 minor skill and major skill until luck is maxed out. If you follow these steps correctly you max out all your attributes by 35 including luck. If you exclude luck, you'll max out by level 27

I leveled using this "trick" to around level 230. I got 1/1/1 attributes every level, and used the felldew exploit to level them even further. The game is kind of unplayable, even at minimum difficulty, a lot of mobs are damage sponges which take forever to kill. My character is also a damage sponge, having over 2k life.

The problem that I ran into is that you can’t get all them to 100 and from what I’ve seen it goes up depends on skill so in theory if you get all your skills to 100 before you level up you get all attributes up to 100

@@ajsjjs5985 make 2 saves one where you have a level up ready and the other no level up, then just sleep for the one that has the level up and once it goes down like bar things skips atleast an hour press start and load the save that has no level up, then save on the one you just leveled up on, then go back to the level up one and keep doing same thing, do you understand?

this games leveling system is broken did you know that by running in game it would take over 140+ hours to reach 100 in altheltics i dont like the system because it just intearrlky baed on what the charater does there no level up system where you get perks it just level your stats and get like perks for each stat rank it makes it really hard to play the game on higer diffcultes without having high magicka and health also because the difficulty setting is broken as well

Can confirm works 100% on xbox, also you can pass the level ups onto other saves, even in the prison at the start lol this is broken. Wouldn't recommend the prison though, changing your race resets skills and stats to default values, wastes your time.

Yeah oh god indeed but the problem with that is the enemies health and damage level a lot quicker and higher when using the glitch so I recommend doing maybe one or two levels every so often or if you are playing on the easiest difficulty then you might be able to do maybe 5-6. But if you have the Mace Of Doom and are on the easiest difficulty then you can do as many levels as you want.

Get to level 10 legit can take anywhere from maybe 5-6 days up to two weeks. The leveling in the game is very slow and if you use it to get from level 1 to 10 it requires you to gain all the xp it took if you naturally were to level from 1 to 10 so it most likely is going up but very very slowly.

once you are past level 30 you find alot of daedric armor and weapon also glass weapons and armor also some of the best weapons I have is because i got them at there best drops it all matters in how you want to play the game I use alot of glitches and tricks to max out my fun while playing but thats just how I like playing it. I have spent over 700 hours on this game and it is my favorite game of all time

Only problem with this is I did this glitch and was like level 200 and I got smoked by even the weakest enemies and even when fighting enemies it took me forever to kill them but they did a lot of damage to me. It’s probably because enemies level with you right?

well some enemies do but most have a lvl cap but I have shown how to get a dev weapon called the mace of doom that's a powerful one hit weapon on alot of creatures depending on your difficulty

Yeah its the mace of doom and the wizard tower dlc is like 2 dollar but I have the game of the year plus have bought all the dlc before. Its a fun weapon. But if you want a powerful bow, arrow and mace there is the Hatred set that is inside a oblivion gate I believe I have a guild for that. Also to keep those arrow I recommend that you dupe them, also I believe to get the best version of that bow is to be level 35.

What i did is levelled everything to 100 except luck than went to peryte shrine attacked the still monks got my destruction and combat skills to 100 was smooth sailing, because my enemies went from rats to miniatures in 10 minutes make sure you have a combat skill at least 100 😂😂😂

A lot of people (me included) dont like how the leveling system works. And since this came out before Skyrim, we cand play it using Skyrims leveling system. So rather than deal with an annoying as crap set up, we just glitch it to work better. Unless it gets patched and then we're stuck using the basic crap.

Make sure you have a level up to do this glitch, you know you have a level up if you have the D arrow on the bottom of your screen. But then make two saves before trying so you have backs ups. but then sleep for any amount of time right before you were to wake up load another save and that save will get the level up and just apply the points and save. then just reload the save with the level up and repeat to your intent.

also just for your guys info every glitch for this game still works because they have never came back to patch any glitch since 2007 so if a glitch doesnt work for you it usually the user who has messed up with a step of it

@Robert Deffenbaugh There might be some beds it doesn't work on I didn't test every bed in the game. As long as you have a level up on you and you follow the steps it should work but maybe try a different bed.

4 years late here, but if you make sure to have at least one of these as your major skills: Armorer, Athletics, Blade, Block, Blunt, Hand to Hand, Heavy Armor, Alchemy, Alteration; then when you get arrested you will lose 1 rank in one of these skills each day you serve in jail. Therefore, you are able to potentially spend 10 days in jail and gain the ability to level up again.
