Hard to believe this was 11 years ago as I still watch the film regularly and have this song as calling tone on my phone. I still remember the ending when getting up to leave as the credits started and then Susanne’s voice floated out across the cinema as everyone stopped to watch the credits, captivated by her beautiful voice. The piano ending is a also a masterstroke. It is criminal and perverse how this film and soundtrack was not awarded the honours deserved: best film, best soundtrack, best actors etc etc. Thanks for this great compilation another masterstroke ❤

And the award for song (and video) that reduces me to a sobbing mess is... THIS ONE. I cried at the end of the movie when that song was playing, I downloaded it and listened to it on repeat for several months, and now I'm back visiting it all over again and the emotions it gave me.

Oh.My.God if only *all* of youtube was done this well! Perfectly put together and beautifully matched the scenes to the music. I almost shed a tear with Vika towards the end. EPIC movie - best of 2013 *by far* This song is amazing as well. I watched the movie *again* on the weekend along with all the extras on the bluray disc. Time well spent IMHO.

You're welcome. I played it about 5 times in a row! I hope you do this for a living because you perfectly captured the entire movie in the song. The video to the piano outro is just perfect IMHO. Love the cut from the hug on the empire state building before the war to the hug in the ruined empire state building. Genius. My only minor complaint would be that it would nice if it just faded out at the end so I don't have to dive for the volume control after the piano outro ends at 5:48. I think your subscribe ad at the end would be more effective if it was silent. OH, and as someone else mentioned... a bluray quality version would be nice :-)

david green Thanks for the tips, I will keep them in mind. I do not do videos for a living, in fact this one was the first real MV I ever attempted because I was disappointed that no official MV existed. I do videos merely as a hobby and have no training whatsoever, this is all self taught through trial and error :). I agree that Full HD quality would be awesome but the blu ray wasn't out in my country when I made the video + I live in a area where internet is very slow, Uploading 1080p videos take me up to 24 hours at this length...

Great song, and well edited music video! Thought this film was a bit underrated when it came out. The story/plot may have been kinda generic, but the acting, visuals, and especially the music, more than made up for it for me personally. I was able to enjoy all of the little details of the movie on repeat viewings and appreciate it more. :)
