I know a lot of people weren't horribly enthusiastic about Tron Legacy and Oblivion! However, for the true sci-fi connoisseur, there are fragments... indeed, moments, in these motion pictures that draw us into the great utopian ecstasy, or propel us downward into dystopic madness that defines our love for the medium. Joseph Kosinski, the director of both of these films, I believe, has captured a microcosm of this in his hauntingly beautiful music and his incredible cgi architecture. Thank you for bringing me to these alternate worlds of reality.

Love this title track from Oblivion. This is probably the best version of the song I have heard/seen. Oblivion was one of the best Sci-Fi movies of the past few years. If you haven't see it, I highly recommend it. That flying machine that Jack flew throughout the movie was incredible. What an innovative design. I would suspect that future flying machines will take cues from that design. And that base/house that Jack and Becca worked and lived at was beautiful. If money were no object, I would live in a house designed like that, with that plexiglass pool underneath! The technology already exists to do the pool although cost prohibitive. Aquarium's already use it. Disney's "The Seas" exhibit in EPCOT is an example. Sea World used the plexiglass technology back in the late 70's when they opened the shark encounter that you could walk underneath and view them. That house on the side of a hill someplace overlooking the Ocean somewhere in the world would be incredible. Some remote Island or Country where you would be far from your next neighbor.
