I"m really not a typical negative commenter. I think this is a fantastic performance, you're right, There are only a few bands who can bring that quality. I also would emphasize the live singing of her, beautiful. It's almost perfect. This is the hardest part of the live performances. BUT. All the other "instrument", effect, vocals you hear is partly the job of the "sequencer". The sequencer is the principal for the "studio" sound. It's important to mention that;)

Except the cover by Floor Jansen of Nightwish

@@ericdroddy7444 Floor sings it like a rock song, which might suit some. On the other hand Susanne brings both the strength, the fragility and the haunting quality the track deserves. To me there's really no contest. I've heard Susanne sing live, and there's a beauty there that no other living vocalist can touch.

Susanne turns every song she's on into gold. So underrated (in the US)

From the moment I first heard Susanne sing and it was this track at the end of the movie at the Cinema, I am spellbound at Susanne's voice and have been hooked on her music. I was so privileged to see and hear Susanne and her artistic team at the Barbican in May 2018, with War and Mountaineers that has similar moods to this track. Again a standing ovation to Susanne and her artistic team. I cannot wait to hear Susanne again and this time prepared to visit the wonderful country of Norway.

This song deserved to be a James Bond movie theme. It would become a classic. If angels sang, they would do it like Susanne.

Listen to Solitude by them. Even more Bondesque.

She gives me goosebumps when she sings, no idea why. Is there something wrong with me? Beautiful song, voice and lady. I’m glad I heard this in my lifetime.
