Great video! The only issue I've run into is what you mentioned at the end where the NDI versions are not matching. I tried to open up a web browser on the VM that comes with the OBS NDI docker but I get an error (my guess is that when they made this package, they did not include a web browser) Anything you know of that I can do to fix that?

you could try updating the container to the latest version or downgrade the NDI version on your PC so that they match

@@SPXLabs Thanks for replying! The container seems to be up to date from what I can see on Unraid and docker. Would you happen to know where I could get the older versions of NDI for Windows? Unless I am missing something, the github page for OBS-NDI doesn't make it clear for me. Would really appreciate it since this seems to be the only thing in my way in getting this to work.

So this has been driving me nuts. Lol As far as I can tell, everything works EXCEPT for when I actually log-in to Twitch, the chat and stream info docks pop up, but will not load. Super frustrated with it at the moment. Any suggestions would be wonderful

Hmmm. You shared your stream key manually right? You didn’t login through OBS right?

I did. I think I've realized Im better off running twitch chat on the native PC anyway, and manually inputting the stream key as you've suggested. I'm actually trying to stream a VR setup, so it would be easiest to integrate the twitch chat through the main PC's OBS. Unfortunately after further testing I've come to realize realistically neither of my PC's are powerful enough to support everything going at the same time and also stream, so I'm back to looking into upgrading the main rig so I can put the newer parts from the main rig into the server rig and continue the cycle... lol Currently on an EVGA 1080FTW and a 9600kf OCed to 5.0GHz even, but its just not enough to push VR even on low settings with literally anything going on in the background. The CPU is already struggling to push the frames as it is, so literally any extra load and it starts tanking hard. With that being said, I did get most of it working. Just a total lack of performance on the hardware end of things right now. The one major thing I havent figured out yet is how to overlay twitch chat reliably within iRacing (which is what Im looking to stream), but I figure that will be less of an issue once I upgrade my rig and can play around with some more stuff. It's challenging because iRacing is widely known to get the best performance on OpenXR, but running any kind of overlay through OpenXR is an extreme challenge compared to the more common OpenVR/SteamVR combo@@SPXLabs

Do you recommend NDI over Teleport? Would I be able to set this up with an AMD card as well?

Never heard of teleport. NDI is only great but it’s not a long term solution. I think legit streams still use dual pcs setup in a very particular way. This is more of a demonstration of options. You can use any hardware to do this. I’m not sure how to do hardware passthrough with AMD cards. It might work but I’m not sure how.
