That idea should work out good. I've seen them sliders take abuse offroad so the should be good for your rig

That's what I'm hoping for! If anything i've beefed them up more than the ones I was looking at online by quite a bit in the surface area of wear parts.

Good idea. I've seen them used but never thought about HD applications. I'm interested in knowing how it works and handles.

Ive watched a few videos online but they were mainly either on race cars or small little off road trucks like toyotas and jeeps. I only found one that was running it set up on a diesel and he was havving issues with the HDPE blocks crumbling so he went to bearings, then to brass blocks and said the issues quit. So.... I went straight to the brass blocks and oversized them. I cant see why it would handle any different that a rear shackle, if anything it should tighten up any side to side play you would have with the extra shackle bushing. Im sure I'll have some update vids once its on the road and seen some miles.

@@Shopworx I think it will work well. I'm just wondering how much better it might work than a shackle.
