THe cool thing is that you can add a streamerbot deck button, add a new action with input and now when you press the button you can directly type the name of the chapter marker inside obs. its so cool

Very helpful video as always. Changing those recording settings works great. I am making a multi-button in stream deck that both adds a chapter marker and saves the last two minute replay buffer. If the replay of 2 minutes isnt long enough, I can find it via chapter marker in the big file.

I've always wanted a way to have Bot commands such as Follow alert messages & such, tied to the game. For example, if I'm playing KOTOR, ask their opinion on Kreia's story. It's weird when I'm playing Street Fighter and someone follows only to get an inside joke about a mostly unknown Star Wars character.

This is a huuuge timesaver! Thanks for making this video! I have 2 questions. 1. Is it possible to "backtrack" the marker by the moderators by x amount of sec/min? (I stream on 5 min delay due to competitive, meaning their markers would be 5 min off compared to mine). 2. If I update to the newest OBS, will the StreamDeck plugins such as Bar Raiders still work?

I am so happy that this is something now built directly into OBS, just sad that it's only seemingly useful if you are using Resolve for your editing needs. I'm using Vegas Pro myself, and sadly it does not easily support the new chapter markers natively like Davinci Resolve does. So jealous.

Sadly, I could not get this to work at all. I'm going to assume that it doesn't work outside of Adobe Premier? I use Shotcut and loaded it into Davinci Resolve and neither one had any markers.

Hello, does this also work with 2 OBS programs at the same time? Because I use one obs for streaming and the other for recording in better quality. Because somehow it doesn't put any markers in the file in the recording instance of OBS, only when I record with the live instance of OBS it works there.

Well as proof I watched from start to end, I'm really happy with the new plugin but was surprised to see it say it works only with Hybrid Mp4 files and not MKV, but at least your video did show it does work with MKV. As for my favorite fast food order, It's a tie with getting a double double with 2 servings of fries from In N Out or Canes chicken sandwich with fries combo so can I order one of those from you? The update is currently in beta, it's "30.2 release candidate 2"! You can wait for more testing to be done or you can just use it now if you would like. It's a release candidate, which means if no users find any bugs that need to be fixed before it goes to the wider audience, or any new features to squeeze in just in time, the current beta version will be (near) identical to the full release
