Thank you. You are a very clear communicator. I find all of this quite confusing. I am using a sony camera. Rode mic and bringing in a remote guest. I am using the Atem mini pro. I have a laptop and a large monitor. I will watch thos vodeo another few times. Thanks so much.

Thanks for sharing Brian Cottington. A great combination OBS and VDO ninja. It is a fast and smart way to podcast and what you say, add filter to enhance the audio and edit the MP4 files. You can then export the audio for your podcast and export the full video episode and also create video snippets for your socials.

This is golden! I love when I find an open source solution! and your tutorial is so clear! my question: can we upload the video tracks separately?
@LibsynАй бұрын
Do you mean as in record your video tracks separately in OBS Studio so that you can edit them inside Premiere Pro or another video editing app? Natively, no. But again with OBS Studio, 9 times out of 10 there is a plugin for a feature that isn't in the program. In this case, look at the Source Record plugin- obsproject.com/forum/resources/source-record.1285/

Wait..:-) what is my camera device? you had a ready-made list. I don't. what to do? I have a dslr camera....and a logi tech webcam. Please help. (Loving this tutorial!)
@Libsyn2 ай бұрын
Hey there! So that list that's showing up when I go to Add Video Capture Device is referring to any camera sources that are connected to my computer. So with the logitech webcam, make sure it's plugged in and working properly. If so then it should be a source that you can choose in the device drop down. The DSLR, depending on the model, may have the ability to work as a usb webcam. If not, you can still use it but you will more than likely need a device called a Capture Card that will allow you to convert the HDMI output of the DSLR to a USB connection that your computer can use. Elgato makes a decent one called the Camlink 4k that isn't too terribly expensive.

make sure when you are creating the browser source using the link copied from VDO.Ninja that you click the box to control audio in obs.
