Please make the video to walk through using OBS with the StreamDeck. I may be alone with this, but I feel like the StreamDeck and the P4 Podtrack were wasted money. My workflow uses OBS to make the video recording. From there it’s east-peasy to grab the audio for the podcast. But the StreamDeck would simplify scene changes and save time with the weekly setup for each episode. How do you set this up and use the StreamDeck?

Will definitely look at creating a video breaking this down. But for OBS, what I do is in the streamdeck software, there is a section labeled OBS. It features a ton of OBS specific operations. Usually I attach the "Run Scene" operation to my buttons and then choose the associated scene in my podcast. The neat thing you can do too is to save it as a profile within the streamdeck software so you can jump between different profiles depending on what app you are using. For instance, I have separate profiles for ecamm and OBS. As I mentioned in the video, I only have 3 different scenes so it is just a matter of cutting between them and it definitely does save a ton of time. But thank you for the comment and I'll look at building a future video on this very subject.

Dude I’m tryna use more then one mic on OBS for my podcast with out it sounding robotic any tips to fix this

Hey there! So without getting too deep in the weeds, if you're trying to bring in more than one mic into OBS, I would suggest using something like an audio interface to bring those mics in like a Focusrite Scarlett or even a mixer that can connect to your computer like the Rodecaster. I also don't use the default mic that OBS gives you. I like to just add my mic separately as an Audio Input Capture into my scene along with my camera and then copy an instance of that scene to any scenes where I want those sources to pop up (ie 2 shots or if I have graphics over the screen). Using 2 usb mics on the same computer unfortunately tends to lead to trouble. I know there are some third party programs that promise to fix this, but I've never seen them work long term. Much easier to just let a hardware solution do the routing of your sources.
