Impressive cover man ! Awesome playing, mix and video ! Really clean job, you must have worked hard getting all the fills and structures right. The one detail in my opinion is that really hard double bass pattern, the missing stroke (the one allowing you to avoid the left foot accent) kind of kills the groove a little bit. I couldn't help noticing it as a drummer, but apart from this tiny thing your cover is amazing !!

Martti010 thanks! Yea I have a thin reso head on the bottom, and the bottom head is cranked pretty high, top is high too but not quite as high as the bottom

Alright! I had my reso head cranked a bit too high so top head would "react" a little too quickly to tuning. And I knew thin heads were better! :D What exact top/bottom head do you use for the snare?

Great performance! Im working on the Negative One and AOV by Slipknot right now, any tips on having a really consistent pace with the kicks? I started on double not too long ago and for some reason when I hit the snare my left leg resists matching perfectly on the same beat. Maybe its me or you experienced the same thing, but any general advice is helpful too!

Hmm I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about but I would just say to slow down and practice with the metronome, maybe try just isolating the kicks and the left hand as well
