The voice levels can be uneven as Hadriex had to do the voice over in two parts, which is why he sounds different in some parts. I wanted to cover Limbo of the Lost but I haven't got around to playing it, finding physical copies of it is really expensive as well.
Edit: snarkdreams.com/personal/kosha... here's the only English walkthrough for BAT 2 I've found. It seems like hardly any one has beaten this game. Maybe it was poorly translated, since it's a French game?

Oh, finding video was just amazing. A lot of stuff I never even knew existed and some that I've heard of but never played. And there's Buster and the Beanstalk, which I've lost the the count of times I finished back in my childhood. It was fully translated (and dubbed) in Portuguese, so I managed to enjoy it fully here I Brazil. Took me some time to understand that I needed to collect the pieces of the keys to open the castle, tho (in my defense, I think I was 5 or 6 at the time). Great game (that I don't think I would have the courage to play today).

A pretty neat list. I was happy to see Dreamweb and 9: The Last Resort featured, and I'm interested in checking out Azrael's Tear. A game I'd recommend checking out if you have the chance is Creature Crunch, a 1996 cartoony adventure game about a boy turned into a half-monster, who uses different transformations to solve puzzles/deal with enemies. It also features voice acting from Martin Short and Eugene Levy.

In Azrael's Tear, there's a keyboard shortcut for uninverting the mouse that's listed on the quick start card, but not in the manual. It's either F9 or F10, IIRC.

90sG A little help if you can. I remember when I was child and I played this game from my brother's minuscule collection. All I can remember is the game's box art is that it shows many old TVs with color bar displays and there's this huge machine infront that looks like a jury-rigged structure with the same color bars; albeit alien. This Point and click Adventure also has a competition at the time to win money when the game is completed.

I saw an early version of A Vampyre Story with the 2-D art in place of 3-D, and it was quite something to behold. The game had much more character, expressiveness, and pull. The animation quality matched that of the background art -- sheer cartoonish perfection, if you ask me. I never appreciated the mixed 3-D. That is, the games that use it lose most of their appeal. They are like poorly rendered and lit puppets, compared to expressive 2-D cell art.

I could be wrong, but the voice of the Pink Panther was probably Matt Frewer of Max Headroom fame. There was an updated PP cartoon in the 90's or so where Matt voiced the character. He did it well enough that it really worked. Anyone else (besides maybe Bill Murray) would have failed completely at it.

Man, I'm looking for a game but my memory of it isn't that clear... From what I remember, it was 1st-person perspective (like Myst), the player character was some kind of half-cyborg (I'm not sure but his uniform was purple??) and time travel was involved (it's not Time Commando, that was another game, quite overlooked by the way)

i think John Romero wanted to accomplish (what Azrael Tears did) at the time of quake´s development (obviously i don´t think he was aware of the AT game), but id software wanted another doom clone to milk that sweet money, i think that´s why he left the company
@FeelingShred
@FeelingShred 5 жыл бұрын
Another cool game I've never heard about, thanks! I truly think John Carmack and John Romero should reunite together but this time indulging in a full fledged Dungeons & Dragons-based game, the most non-apologetic cluttered type (opposed to what id games was about...) Going back to their origins I think they will be able to harnest some interesting shit... At least Daikatana has moments of fun and awe (in the very least a few laughter moments), compared to Doom3 which is the most boring thing in history, at least Romero has that for him
