Obscure Demoknight TF2 Facts (And Bugs)

Demoknight TF2 is a buggy disaster, let's talk about it!
It seems every new thing I learn about this class is either a bug or a weird mechanic the game never tells you, so in this video I'm listing a few things that most Demoknight players won't know about. Extending charge duration with the Persian Persuader, the obscure 90% Rule, and a hidden feature which doesn't work as intended!
This was my first attempt at commentary. More will come if you guys end up liking it. I got a bit inspired by some of AsumSaus' content, so if you like Melee (not swords, I mean Smash Bros) then you should probably watch their videos.

There are some rumours going around that swinging and THEN charging can cause the Extender feature to work. If this is true I will talk about it in another video.

Yeah, the audio levels are quite hard to get right. Different voice clips can sometimes be different volumes and the video can sound different depending on what you're watching this video with. It sounded fine on my headset, but the feedback seems to be telling me otherwise. Noted. I'll fix this next time. Is rocket jump a bug or a feature? Both, kind of. It was a bug in Quake, and thus Quake Team Fortress as well. In TF2, it received official status as a feature, becoming one of the core mechanics of soldier.

omg is the guy with 6000 hours. I'm looking foward to that amount of hours, but also not. also, yes, it's broken AS FUUUUU- melee register favors agresors, teamates eat melee hits, melee makes sounds but not damage sometimes and is calculated by enviroment hitboxes, not the hit hitboxes, so a scout has same melee hitbox than a heavy. VERY WELL DONE DEEP MECHANICH.

I actually do something that I didn't even realize would benefit from the extra range on charge swings. I use the tide turner, and in close combat you can swing and then immediately charge, swing comes out after you've already covered some distance from the charge and -doesn't cancel it-, land the hit and swerve away, either running off or rounding back for another minicrit swing. It's a bit hard to land unless the enemy is backpedaling though. Really nice for skullcutter too.

I can explain it, so it resets the charge when collecting ammo packs, so it would make a separate charge but without the right click hold, it would only go for the length of one charge because there's no further imput.
