It was the first and worst time he killed his girlfriend's dad's dog though; he went on about his run-ins with dogs and glue extensively at the Sticky's reunion tour in '75 that Gladys and I attended. The best moment, of course, was when guitarist Hosea Scaramouche brought out ever dead dog Vernon glued back together and we all applauded his prowess.
