my favourite series of James Patterson. Got fed up after reading 3 Alex Cross. Read the first 20 of Women's Murder club, which I enjoyed. LOVE Michael Bennet series; read all the first 14, so thanks for this audiobook. I have not had the time to read it yet, but love the story. THanks.

Another good story by James Patterson AND … James O Born. So many by Patterson on KZbin and yet frustrated that I can’t get all the Breakfast Club or Alex Cross or the Private series. What a prolific writer. The narrators are always good

This book is called obsessed but the only thing the author is obsessed with is this ludicrous family. I much prefer Harry Bosch he is no Ward Cleaver like this goody two shoes dad but he tries despite being a total bad-A.

Good story, but the ridiculous, fantasy-family dynamics were annoying. 10 kids, and everyone is happily at the dinner table for loving conversation over gourmet food every night. Uh-huh. 🙄
@jeanettesdaughterАй бұрын
What a cynic! Would five do? That’s my family. Both of SF. Two great home cooks, firing or o packaged foods and three bright and funny children. We loved our dinner together. When plus one or two appeared they loved it too. Our parties snd holiday dinners were legendary in our neighborhood and no we weren’t rich. Envy much🧐

Seriously I came here to say this but you said it perfectly. It’s so Leave it to Beaver but if that show was extra G rated. 😂

Question. If they have 10 kids, why is wife getting fertility treatments?
@xela1595 күн бұрын
I believe in a different book they are described as all adopted and from a previous marriage. So his current wife has never had any of her own.

Really, from all the offensive things or nice things one can see you gripe about the word “kids”.

I prefer the word children over kids. I have a deep respect for children from birth. Treating children from day one of life with respect at all times is the true way to develop the best human beings. 😊

I wish Americans did not refer to children as kids 😡
@tottiemae22584 ай бұрын
I love the name Fiona. May I ask why "kids" is offensive to you? I'd just like to understand.
@fionamartin42814 ай бұрын
I don’t find it offensive, but I immediately think of a baby goat 🙄. In my upbringing there were no shortcuts in language and a spade was called a spade. As a result I generally don’t like any form of diminutive e.g. kid, kiddo, hubby, pet, honey, etcetera etcetera 🙄
@tottiemae22584 ай бұрын
I see. That makes sense.Thank you for explaining. I guess it's just a difference in background and culture. Americans are very casual, as a rule. Like you, I picture little goats jumping around like they have springs on their feet. Cute, busy, and a little mischievous. It's a descriptive term not intended to denigrate. But I totally see where you're coming from. The variety in cultures is delicious meant to be savored like a salad full of different but complementary ingredients. 😄 🥬🍅🫒🥒🥜🍊🥗

Those who really rule America warship Lucifer, that’s why they call children kids.
@lauramerrill74294 ай бұрын
Haha, the way you describe kids, (baby goats) does sound like "kids" when they are young, actually. Perhaps there's a reason for the terms' commonality. We all have our own pet peeves, so I understand the annoyance as well.
