my two worlds colliding omg. love and other words has been my favorite romance book since i read it. i have never sobbed and giggled harder than i have reading that book. it’s genuinely a masterpiece.

i’m sorry to admit that I was one of the 5 star reviewers of addie larue that also felt conflicted about the slow start and Henry’s development. I do suggest reading some more VE Schwab books. They do fantasy writing very well! I love the Darker Shade of Magic series and I think the pacing is better. loving you all!

I read Writers and Lovers last year and it’s become one of my favorite books ever!! I would absolutely re-read it for a book club pick. I did not find it slow at all, there’s enough going on and just following her thoughts and life was really interesting. Literally required reading for all girls (and just people) in their 20s and 30s.

This episode is everything to me I have avoided Addie due to the mixed reviews but Love and Other Words is a 5⭐️ read for me and one of my favorite romances ever. I highly suggest Alone With You in the Ether by Olivie Blake! It’s my favorite of all time, and her other fantasy books have fantastic writing as well
