crescent city is urban fantasy. So that means it’s not set in this world, but it’s set in like a more modern fantasy world. So there are phones and WiFi and such. But the world is run by fantastical creatures. It is definitely her like most complex series because the books are thick and the world building is crazy, but it’s such a good series
