I totally agree with you! Yes it is a remake of the 1995 film Damage. Tragic movie though! Dr. William Farrow (Richard Armitage) falls in love with his son's Fiancé Anna Barton (Charlie Murphy) to satisfy his perverted obsession desires he has long suppressed, hurts his family, kills his son and loses everything in the end! The movie made me hate both Characters William & Anna. Yes one can argue that they are both victims of circumstances with psychological traumas and complexes but still doesn't justify the hurt they caused. Coz people like these need to seek help so the cycle ends otherwise they will keep hurting other's because they are damaged!
