Thanks for the information. I generally prefer official features over 3rd party plugins because I'm less likely to become reliant on something that will lose support in the future so I'm glad that we have the option of using Canvas which does a lot of what Excalidraw can do.

This is a really valid point. Ultimately plugins can be a risk. If the developer stops using the tools or moves onto something else in their life there is indeed a risk that the support will end. I tend to only rely on one note using Excalidraw so would be easy enough to migrate should I need to.

Hey Josh, big fan, love your content on Obsidian, right at the start of your video you had an image wrap around the text to the right hand side, is that a plugin or something native? I've not seen how to do that before.

Is there any plug-in or method to convert between Excalidraw and a Canvas or vise-versa? The gentlemen's point below regarding plug-in maintenance falling off is as you indicated well taken.

I'm not aware of anything. They are two very different applications under the hood.
