Obsidian Flames Booster Box Opening

A Pokemon TCG Obsidian Flames Booster Box is opened in this video. This brand new product I purchased from Collector's Cache for $109.99. The official release date of Obsidian Flames is August 11th, 2023, and it is the first set to include Tera Pokemon ex of different types. Although there isn't a ton to love competitively about this set, there are 4 new Charizard ex cards to collect as well as new Illustration and Special Illustration Rares. I open the entire booster box in this video!

While Obsidian Flames isn't too much really, love the Ninetales and Absol ex myself both normal and special art of each. Would probably say the full art Absol as my favourite. The different tera types remind me of delta species, but using original energy and merely counting as a different type is very interesting. Hey PrimetimePokemon, Pokémon was a massive part of my life, notably the anime and the Pokémon cards. I loved opening Pokémon packs, not only for the surprise of what cards I was gonna get, but also for the illustrations. I loved the illustrations, the diverse and unique art styles are nice to see. One of my most favourite cards is a Mismagius card from the 2009 Platinum series. This is because of the way the artist drew the illustration, the appearance of the Mismagius looked so mysterious and intriguing, and I just thought that looked pretty cool. It was approximately 10 years ago when I discovered your channel. I loved watching it, seeing you open loads of Pokémon booster boxes was so cool and fun. So much so, that I made a goal for myself that when I earn money in the future, I’ll buy a booster box of my own. Despite in my later years, my interest in Pokémon not being as strong, it undoubtedly had a big affect on my life, and I still had a connection to it. Fast track to May 2023, after being in my first job for a few months, I managed to get my own Pokémon Booster Box (Astral Radiance), this one specifically cos I liked the name of the TCG! And because Mismagius was on that TCG card list (which is my favourite Pokémon because of the illustration of the 2009 Platinum TCG card I got years ago). From then on, I’ve slowly opened the packs, I think I’m halfway through. I’ve pulled Heatran V and Vmax, Beedril V, and loads of other card with cool illustrations. However, my favourite was on my fifth pack I opened, which had a reverse holo Mismagius card illustrated by an artist called Ligton, and this new illustration also looked so cool! I wanted to write this message to let you know, that 10 years later, I’ve achieved my childhood dream, which was born out of watching your videos! You’re awesome, keep up the great work. And I hope you have a great day. This is such an awesome full circle moment and I just had to share this with you!

I havent been to this channel since 2013 and man it never gets old, I was 9 and now I’m 19. I bought one of these boxes yesterday and I have not opened one since XY evolutions with the mega charziard secret rare. Hello primetimepokemon, im wondering when did you switch from buying your products from Dave and Adams Card world? Did domething happen or did collectors cache start offering cheaper prices?

That is a good question, I switched to Collector's Cache because for a period of time, Dave and Adam's Card World stopped carrying a lot of Pokemon cards and their prices increased.
