iCloud sync has some issues indeed. Obsidian Sync is a better option for cross platform sync

You need to log in inside obsidian settings. Than enable in settings Updates (insider updates or something like that) and than enable in settings Experimental live preview.

The problem with plugins is portability. What happens if one day the developer stops updating them and they become incompatible with newer Obsidian versions? Or what happens if we want to migrate the .md files to another app?
