One thing I would love them to implement, with the vault switcher, is the ability to rearrange the order they're in... so the primary vault is always on top, for example.

I'm so clueless I didn't notice my Obsidian had updated! That proves I don't use Obsidian as much as I should. I absolutely love Vault Switcher. It will make me want to use Obsidian more. Thanks.

I definitely like the new vault switched and being able to hide the ribbon. Sadly, the new word count function doesn't work on Android. That's because the word count is found in the right sidebar, and you can't actually get to it while text is highlighted.

I have been trying to test obsidian again as im tossing up on where to create my second brain. I love the notion template community (free or paid), and theres just not the same available for this. Im going to test importing templates from notion to obsidian..... and see what breaks😅. And i want to import existing data from excel, one note, otter, and youtube playlists etc automatically .. . But not sure how the interoperability will go. And streamling all my incoming events and actions. Just so frustrating to have to learn multiple systems that probably wont talk to each other. Most work places using microsoft / sharepoint and huge range of apps

this vault thing is absurdly powerful so much, actually, that I don't want to enter the rabbit hole of all the different use cases for it...

Would you know the behavior of daily notes if you have them in each “vault in a vault”? Eg a main vault with a personal and work vault in it each with daily notes. Would switching to the main vault that has both show duplicate daily notes (that i imagine would at least be linked to their corresponding vault?)?

Is hotkey sinc optional? My laptop has a different key layout so different hotkeys actually make it easier for, would kinda suck if i'm stuck to one set of hotkeys

The customization features in Obsidian have really ruined every other app for me. And it's amusing to see people complain about UI/UX features/changes in other apps.

Yeah, just deactivate the core plugin for it, right?

You can avoid properties by not using them and hiding all the popups in settings.

Hi, I have version 1.6.7 and I am searching for the vault switcher in my plug-ins and settings. Where can I switch it on? Sorry, I am quite new to Obsidian and am still getting familiar with the vastness of functions. Thanks for helping out.

The vault switcher is always 'on' it is part of core Obsidian not a plugin. The option to change is at the bottom of the left sidebar.
