Amazing what is possible with this tool. It changed my way of playing and preparing completely. Thanks for all your amazing videos and taking the time to spread the knowledge.

Check out the video on calculat9ng travel distance. We talked about calculated fields in realm works but I never understood the need for them until I saw the potential in obsidian.

love these tutorials. I am not a DM but I am writing a book and I am using all these tools to make the world feel real. Where is the calculator located? I am having trouble trying to calculate the bounds right now.

so we went from installing it straight into you already having full code blocks done and several maps already done. Is there a tutorial on how to get all of these in between steps?
@JoshPlunkett6 ай бұрын
@SIOSpawn are you working through the website or just the videos? The website has a getting starting list. Do that first. Then pick the functionality you are interested in from the plugin tutorials and watch those tutorials. www.obsidianttrpgtutorials.com

@JoshPlunkett the videos. I'll check out the website Just want to put a map of barovia on my stupid obsidian so I can put all my pins on it and it keeps giving me a world map I dont think the sample code in the plug-in section works at all because it's so old

Your videos are really in depth and helpful, thank you so much for sharing all this knowledge. I've been trying to find a way to associate markers to specific layers of image maps, i.e. I have three images as different layers, but the markers seem to be shared between them as soon as you convert them to a code block. I've been looking through the obsidian leaflet plugin documentation and I can't seem to find info on whether this is possible. Any idea if that is supported?
@JoshPlunkett5 ай бұрын
@YokoRaz I've not actually tried multiple layers when adding to a code block. It works easily when stored in the leaflet settings file. Might be worth raising with the dev and see if he has any advice.

if im using obsidian on ipad how can i measure the distance, (alt click)
@stefanied437611 ай бұрын
Anyone know how to get the measurement functionality of the ALT Click on a Mac?
@JoshPlunkett11 ай бұрын
Try the Command+Click or Ctrl+Click. It will only work if the bounds are setup.

Settings > Files and Links > Attachment Folder Path

I wish that would work for me, but whatever map I try to make there I can't. The code stays as a code and doesn't change into an image of the map.

I had the same problem. It's because you're in edit mode. in the top right there is an option to switch to viewing mode and the map will pop up.

Josh, can you say where you either got the map, or what you used to create it. Much appreciated if you can!

I made that map with cc3+ many years ago now. It's hosted on the profantasy community atlas if you want a copy.
