Beautiful and haunting video, especially around 2:30 when the city begins to flood. The only things that made me scratch my head was the inclusion of London at 4:30 and the Netherlands at 5:50; I don't understand those inclusions

It was recently Jesper Kyd's birthday and I wished him so personally, but I had to come and listen to this piece again. I don't think even he realizes what a piece he wrote here. I switch between Dreams of Venice and Mozart's Lacrimosa regularly when I listen just to give evidence of how incredible this piece is. As a musician I love respect good music even more.

The whole early AC series is a beauty of a nihilism. Deeply spiritual history but with nihilistic creepy message that are Pieces of Eden. I was astounded by this contrast when played for the first time back then, haunted by it. It changed my worldview, my religious views and basically made me partly an atheist
