With an older firearm like that most wouldn’t do a refinish or blueing of the metals… if you do end up wanting to sell it, having that patina will give it more value and in general just gives the firearm character… I personally love patina on older firearms, shows what they’ve been through… that’s just me though

Did you ever have a 9mm Japan Type 26 revolver? (sometimes called a type 26 Nambu - but it's not) One advantage they have over the Nambu pistols, is some like mine will chamber & fire 38 S&W Specifically, Remington 38 S&W fits mine perfectly. It's not that easy to find nowadays. But much easier than 8mm Nambu!
