Videl is essentially the same as when she was released, so these combo routes more or less should have been known already. Consider this an optimization of some things I showed before. Note that Great Saiyamen is not powered up except in the last combo.

*Tutorial* : kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpKkoISsa7tqhZo *Rough Description* : #1 (00:01) - Corner re-jump combo. See tutorial (Assorted Combo Demo Vol.13) if you need guidance. Most of it is easier to perform on bigger characters than smaller ones because the hitbox of j.H isn’t too large. Also for smaller characters you probably have to compromise and end with【dj.L > dj.4L > dj.M > dj.236L】. #2 (00:16) - 5S loop after a held medium command throw. Also see tutorial above if you need help. Using 5S twice is universal, but the third time requires the target to have a vertically long hurtbox (e.g. Cell, Beerus, Broly, …). Note that 214S after DR needs to be delayed as much as possible, or else Lv.3 would whiff. #3 (00:39) - Full stage carry after crossing over into the corner with 22M. The re-jump part follows mostly the same idea as #1 except that you need dash momentum. Note that you’d need to dash and super jump the first time, the input of which is 6639. The second jump is just a forward super jump, but due to not having momentum from dashing, j.2H (the 17th hit of this combo) can be very difficult to connect. Of course, you can just change the ending part to some simple juggling like【sj.LL > j.2H ~ dj.LL > dj.S > dj.236M】. #4 (00:50) - Team 100% with both Gohans. I showed an variation of this in an early Videl video, based off something Maelice posted (twitter.com/xMaelice ). I thought I’d try to make it to kill this time. Just note that this is not how you should do a team 100% combo led by Videl in a match because doing ground combos using 5S, 6H and rekka strings deal more damage (and thus require less meter), unless neither of your assists could keep the dummy on the ground level. #5 (01:17) - Side switch with Gotenks’ assist. As long as you are close enough to the corner after the rekka string, you can end the rekkas with [H] for the ex command throw and get a DR easily. #6 (01:28) - Left-right after a snap with Piccolo’s assist. As long as you call Piccolo right after the snap, his orb would be in time to push the incoming character outwards, leaving some space for you to land behind. Depending on how you jump for j.2H, you can land on either side. You can also get an airborne low from a different blockstring. At the end of the combo, depending on the timing you used j.22M or called SSGoku’s assist, the j.M (or use j.L for quicker startup) can be on either side. #7 (01:40) - Auto L combo started from a specific distance from the corner, allowing j.L to link after j.S. Also shown is how you can get a DR in that situation, as long as you have an assist that could keep the dummy on ground level. She recovers quite fast from 22X/j.22X, so the following link is very lenient. #8 (01:53) - Showing a scenario to combo after 6M and 2S. The beginning part until the second 2S is a blockstring if they choose not to reflect:【2L > 5LL > 5M > 4M > 5H+Goku > 2S, 2L > 5M > 4M > 5H+Trunks > 2S, 6M】. Goku’s assist is simply too good when it comes to blockstun. Make sure you time【5H+Goku > 2S】right so that you don't get pushed out of the range for 2L; having and assist attacking during the blockstun of 5H would reduce your pushback. #9 (02:16) - Solo 100% combo. I was stuck at around 9600 a few months ago. Glad that double Sparking made up for it. Unfortunately I don’t think Videl has a “proper” Sparking route which actually takes advantage of Sparking mechanics (like jump-cancelling fire ball or IAD loops), so for her in general it is just a damage and meter buff.

Yea unfortunately the base damage of her normals is like 15% less than other characters' to begin with... With a scaled starter her damage can be really pathetic at time. To be honest I was surprised that the first combo dealt over 4000 damage.

I think they largely still work the same but it's more for a formality. They really barely changed Videl's quality of life and I don't understand at all.

@@YXiao Ah, thank you. I figured so but don't want to invest time unless I'm sure. For what it's worth, I think she's in an okay spot. The changes she got are helpful, and universal mixups becoming weaker helps her stand out more. When I play Videl, she either dies quickly and doesn't do much, or gives the opposing player a major headache. There's rarely an inbetween.

ms81 some characters can’t kill without it. His whole point is just to do a solo TOD if he can AT ALL lmao. Practicality isn’t the point of all combo videos, sometimes it’s technical prowess like Clayton and Xiao do, sometimes it’s style like Desk usually does.
