Obstacle Technique: Hardest OCR Balance Beam

Evan "Ultra-OCR Man" Perperis shares some tips for training, preparing and completing Conquer The Gauntlet's three section balance beam, the Z Beam, arguably the hardest balance beam in OCR. Athletes are required to make it to the far end without falling. A fall requires a restart from the beginning.

This is NOT the hardest OCR balance beam... That would be the ones at Worlds Toughest Mudder, as it isn't on the ground - it's suspended and the middle wobbles like crazy over water.

@@19stalkern good point that does add a challenging element to it. what year are talking? I’ve done them all since 2014. I think the length on this one and that it’s in a mandatory completion race gives this the slight edge.
