It seemed that in all four pieces (here and against OUBC), Brookes dropped seats early. Did they deliberately start slowly because the pieces were longer than the usual 2K that they row? They clearly had speed on demand when they needed it. Thank you for sharing. Best, Jamie

I think they stuck to their own race plan is read of trading blows.

Better from Cambridge, wrt rowing style. 4 looks out of place. Leg drive finishing earlier than the rest. Even still Cambridge row more like Brooke’s. Brooke’s really are the better crew. Stroke on stroke side this time and positions moved around with the longer bend again and they still drive through. Unreal to see a crew inch back from behind. Well done 👍 history records updated.

Definitely a good race, just think it woulda been more well-deserved if the coaches weren't butting them on the whole time
