It's a dream of mine to windsurf in the USA, outer banks. Oh well, perhaps one day. Anyway, how long is 'long distance'?

We set one mark on the inside and the other on the outside near "the reef" Depending on the wind angle, the course would be between 10.5 miles and 12 miles.
