When I here ash-something, I always think bad guy because of ashfur, but this little bundle of joy proved me wrong!

I use OC generators a lot. And the most fun Warrior Cats ones to me are the ones that include non-cat characters. One time I got a rabbit character and developed their backstory further (there was a generated one but those ones were really repetitive). Basically, Sprout started out as that one rabbit a random WindClan apprentice brought back alive because she was apparently the weird kid in school. She slowly trained this rabbit to be able to track down scents of cats, as it probably wasn't a good idea to train a rabbit to help hunt rabbits. Cue a timeskip of a few moons, and some cats start acting weird around this rabbit. Supposedly hearing it speak. The warrior who brought it there in the first place doesn't believe this at all (after all, why teach something to talk if it could easily wander off and get killed somewhere?) until the dang thing CALLS HER BY NAME. Turns out the rabbit was teaching itself to speak over time, picking up words, names, and phrases and piecing together the meanings. I dunno why I put this here other than I think that the unnamed warrior who first trained Sprout, Sprout himself, and Ashpaw would be pretty good friends.

I feel like you did a pretty good job making AshPaw not look like GrayStripe, but since GrayStripe also has yellow eyes, if you wanted to make it a little more different you could change AshPaw’s eyes, even slightly to amber or something. Otherwise I really like this story.!
