OC Transpo New Flyer 'Xcelsior' XE40 (Bus 2103) and a Demonstrator Nova LFSe+ Being Test Driven

One of OC Transpo's four new electric bus, Bus 2103 (a New Flyer 'Xcelsior' XE40), and a demonstrator bus from Nova Bus (Nova LFSe+) was being test driven today, while simulating Route 33 out in Orleans. Both buses were NOT in revenue service.

Sorry, I am not at the liberty in revealing what routes they are on (to be clear and for the record, I do know what runs/routes/trips they are assigned to). All I am willing to say is that there are 11 weekday runs; 9 Saturday runs; 8 Sunday runs - designated to for electric bus assignments. The four electric buses (subject to fleet availability) during this Winter Service period will be rotated among those runs. The buses will be all over the place, on a variety of routes, at various times of day.

@@aidanmcgregor8789 If I may suggest, try contacting OC Transpo's Customer Service by phone and ask (politely) that you would like ride an electric bus and inquire any of them are in service, and maybe they will assist you in telling you what routes/times you can find it (I'm not making any promises to you, of course). I say this because I have heard some transit fans reaching out to Customer Service many years ago looking for a particular bus with success (I've never done that personally).
