Ocarina of Time 100% New Route Demonstration Run

Thanks to a bunch of new SRM applications found recently, 100% got a huge overhaul with tons of crazy new stuff. This new route is very risky with lots of potential for crashes and softlocks, so I decided to make a demonstration run to show it off before actually attempting runs with this.
This is a macro file being played back on GZ (also known as the practice rom), rather than an actual video being played back. This means I can use GZ features like collision viewer, hitbox viewer, and memory watches to better demonstrate some of the more complicated aspects of the run. The macros and savestates used for this can be downloaded here cdn.discordapp... and you can play it back on GZ yourself (must be on VC as many things in this run would crash N64).

SRM transformed hundo from a speedrun to the origin story of a mute supervillain, in which he gains teleportation, levitation, superspeed, moving through objects, time warp and resurrection powers. Now Link's more powerful than Superman, but just uses it to steal all the valuables in Hyrule. Just imagine the headlines: "Local boy performs rituals in forest, gains superpowers, ruins everything". Great job to the entire OoT Community!

Man, the 2 hour Dampe is...ouch. Two hours of over 70 angle-perfect setups, then...Dampe can bury the run with 10 minutes of bad RNG. It sucks there was no way to put him earlier, before all the hard stuff. It's hella cool to see *the* classic wrong warp be part of the run though. And, of course, all the simply insane uses of the corrupted FW value and F-boots are amazing.

I wonder how this route will go when performed by a human (if ZFG can be considered that) instead of through a save state TAS like in this video. The angle setups seem EXTREMELY precise, and I don't get how you can possibly memorize every single angle to get the corresponding value you need without GZ showing you the value on the right side of the screen. On top of that, if you make one mistake during the angle setups then it crashes the whole game? Making this route consistent is going to be a wild ride, can't wait until the next DLC update for OoT speedrunning

I think he is using the setups in the macro; even when he does them quickly, everything is a series of discrete, predictable movements. He might keep notes on the order at hand, but it should be possible...

All of these different types of SRM (F-boots, quest flags, FW, etc.) and only ~30 minutes of time-save? Honestly I would have guessed that 30 minutes of timesave would have came from F-boots alone if sticking to the normal 100% no srm route. i kinda hope that a route that uses less angle changes / FW warps ends up being faster because this seems unnecessarily complicated

you have to do various SRM sessions, like almost a hundred perfect angle set ups and dont forget about Dampe that can simple decide to kill the run after 2 hours of super hard tricks, i think the numbers are way lower than 1 out 20, even with ZFG godly ability i think it will be a long time before we get 1 out of 20 runs finished
