Love how Vinny put it the most professional way possible the fact he is in the same position/status he was 5 years ago before the show even took off is a huge slap in the face and shows they did not value him.

@@nickulmer9667 couldn’t have been easy when senior and junior were making crazy money from TV, merchandising, video games, etc at their peak. After a while Jr would basically draw a picture of what he wanted, Rick and co would do all the work, and then Jr. And Sr. Would debut it at an event and take all the credit.

Vinnie was without doubt the most likeable and cool person in the show. When he quit I definitely realised something was terribly wrong. To hear Paul SR talk about him like he was nothing, and that he "made him" (later episode), just makes you lose any kind of respect for the old man..

I believe OCC died after Vinnie left. It was never the same again because he was a big part of the show and when he left the bikes became less original (made by water jet machines and Jason’s computer etc) I remember after Vinnie left the episodes became less about building bikes and more about silly segments and whatever bike the episode was about was almost an afterthought. Look at the black widow episode the entire episode was based around the design of THE BIKE not the family drama. I still watch the old episodes but I think Seniors constant bullying and abuse made the company (and the show) really go under
@ronaldshank7589
@ronaldshank7589 29 күн бұрын
It was definitely a major blow, that could've eventually taken OCC down...but OCC was dealt it's mortal wound,the day that Sr. fired Jr. After that, from what I understand, OCC soldiered on for several more years....and then eventually went under. Sr. got into legal troubles with payments on stuff, that he refused to amend, and, if I'm hearing this right, even got into trouble with the IRS. WHOOPS!!!!!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again-The very moment that Sr. fired Jr., Sr. cut his own throat, and didn't even realize it, until afterwards! You couldn't pay me to work for Sr., even if it was just sweeping the floors, cleaning the bathrooms, and taking out the trash! Jr., however, is a different story. I'd love to work for him. Employees are replaceable the business is not gonna stop because of one guy that’s the truth, many employees get this feeling that the company they work for will fall apart when they leave and for the most part it’s just not true. However when you have someone like vinnie that is not only a great employee, very skilled but he was a team player that everyone loves and that’s what is VERY hard to find! They could find someone with more skills but he might be an asshole that nobody likes and that can destroy the team attitude and make people quit. It’s not always About having the absolute highest skilled workers for instance one of my friends who worked with me (automotive repair shop) he wasn’t a very skilled mechanic but the work that he did know how to do was very good quality I would never question his work never need to worry that he didn’t tighten something up, he came in early every day, he got out of the automotive business like 8 years ago and back then he was making 12 bucks an hour at this one shop and I hired him at 20hr at a shop I was running because of the Quality of his work and his work ethic. I could have hired someone with way more skills but when u have a quality employee like that you keep them. He lives an hour away now which is too bad because I own my own shop now and I’d hire him in a second.

Man Vinnie took a lot of shit from Sr. Look at the big fight where Sr. made him clean up the shop even though it was jr's fault, hen sent him home when he told Sr. he was busy trying to make the deadline on a bike they were working on. I know that fight even though Sr. aplogized, it didn't sit well at all with Vinnie. It was only a matter of time before he and others were going to leave. Sr, you hired these guys to build bikes, not clean your shop.

Where exactly was Vinnie supposed to be after five years? I like Vinnie but employee's are hired to solve problems, the employer only owes you a paycheck at the end of the week. Period.

Wrong. The employer owes his employees respect, empathy, and a livable wage. If he fails to deliver there will be animosity in the workplace, constant employee turnover, and worker productivity will suffer. None of which will be to the benefit of the company or business owner long term
