Congratulations for actually having bowl rinse, Glacier Bay.

It’s honestly better than the vast majority of the toilets you’ve tested if you just force it to use more water. How many can actually take the towel and bag together regardless of water usage? Most would just overflow.

I was definitely surprised by the performance
@cameraredeye31152 жыл бұрын
That bowl rinse and performance is surprisingly good, given that it's a flat gallon toilet. But yeah, it needs a little more water to be great...

It seems like it performs well for how little water it uses. My biggest concern is the drain line carry. 1.6 and 1.28 ones have better pipe carrying because of more water.
@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, 1 gallon may clear the toilet but it is not enough to function properly.
@MrBrombomb2 жыл бұрын
It seems like the short flush ruins everything in this toilet. Performance overall on this toilet would be greatly increased by it using 1.28 gpf or 1.6 gpf.

That's what I raised the water level when I restored it. 1 gallon is not enough to clear this bowl.
@AlanXenos2 жыл бұрын
For 1 gallon it's not too bad, but I'd be worried about drain line carry flushing solid waste. Could cause clogs down the sewer line.

@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations the flapper has a small hole on the bottom of it, and that’s how it fills up with water and shuts really early, if you put duct tape over it, the flapper shuts when the water level gets really low in the tank

This toilet is definitely worth restoring while changing out the flush valve & raising the waterline a tad. Then it will be an excellent performer. It seems that any toilet designed to flush on 1 gpf or less is an utter failure.
