My Occult Tarot deck has beautiful gilded red edges that really go with the black and red motif well. I dunno, maybe you have an older version or something.

Hi, normally I'm not interested in tarot but I came across this deck the other day and I can't stop thinking about how I wanted it and suddenly I want to be a reader?? But some say that if you/re a beginner this deck is not a good choice :/ But I'm only attracted to this specific deck. So um it'd be nice if you could give me some sort of advice

So I agree that this would not be the best beginner deck. It doesn’t portray tarot the same as other decks. HOWEVER, it does come with a guidebook, so it gives the meaning of the cards. If you’re drawn to it, I say get it, it’s worth a try. 🖤

It's not a good choice for people who get into Tarot in fact I wouldn't use this deck for tarot reading at all. It's that different. I would get it if you want it as a collector but no, it's not even close to being a good choice for beginners.

I just bought this deck and I've been seeing mixed reviews on it. I'm by no means experienced in Tarot I'm still rather new. A lot of people have been saying they're fine to use for normal readings but others are warning people not to use them? Have you had any issues with this deck and should I maybe avoid using it until I'm more experienced? I'd rather not conjure up something if I can help it 😅

I just got this deck normally I do reversed and upright would that work the same in this deck?

I would put the cards in a velvet baggie because I don't like my cards rubbing against the box like that its irritating to me, to the spiritual energies, and it damages the cards. The 72 angels box does that too. But it's definitely worth it to have these decks in my collection.

Hey thanks! It's a good deck and will read essentially the same as any tarot. The difference comes into play where it might be harder to remember definitions and meanings since it is not as pictorial, and you will likely need to dive deeper into learning the characters and WHY they represent these cards. It would not be my first pick for a beginner, HOWEVER, it might be the perfect deck you need, so give it a shot.

Is it okay to use these cards if you are not informed about demons? Like if you don’t know anything about them. Or is that dangerous?

If its OK me asking, is there a reason why some decks have the red lining on the cards and some don't?

On the edges, or a border on the card? I believe the difference is simple design choice, and cost. It doesn’t really effect the reading of the cards.

@@trailpostandhive the red glossy edges. I saw some of the Occult card sets have nothing on them and some do. I just wanted to know because I would love to get the deck that has it :)

@@jana42069 ah, it’s just esthetics. It has no effect on the ability to read the cards. I personally don’t like the foil edging on decks because if not done well it wears and flakes off over time.

Hi! I recently purchased this deck without realising the cards only had demonic figures. Can you still use these cards as regular tarot cards and have you experienced anything bad from this deck?

You can still use it, it just may take time to learn the new deck. It’s not exactly structured in the common way. No nothing bad comes from them.

Hey babe, I would suggest you give it away simply because it is an extremely powerful and dangerous deck. By using the most powerful demons when you read for yourself or a client, you are opening yourself up to these demons (not spirit guides). As with contacting demons, you can end up with debt with whoever you ended up contacting, because they are giving you advice they need something in return and that could be someone’s life. Don’t let it’s beauty tempt you ❤️ - From experience
