I'm amazed at the cleanliness and the boardwalk is huge.

Sandra Carli This video made me cry. As a kid our family spent a good part of our summers in Ocean City being as how my grandmother's relatives had a house right on the beach. A lot of good memories.

Literally live in ocean city. It’s so weird seeing a shoobie there in October. The mood in oc is way different in the summer. Also wonderland pier and the music pier are iconic which you totally miss if you’re not there in the summer. The ocean city boardwalk is iconic. Literally all of the California cities you list are designed based on ocean city. Also the Atlantic Ocean is significantly warmer than the pacific which is why it stays warm on the coast for longer. Longport is the best beach in NJ if you’re only doing the beach. Or 52nd street in OC. OC Boardwalk is the best for family or anyone college age and under looking just to have a nice and fun day together. I walk on the boardwalk in the winter with my friends. Rides are open on certain days in the winter too

Yep. Developers from east coast moved to the west coast and redeveloped the now iconic west coast boardwalks of Venice Beach & Santa Cruz. But those beach towns are hell holes. They make seaside heights & coney island look like Cabo San Lucas. Been to Venice Beach CA. A complete zoo & freakshow. I felt as if I was a foreigner in most parts of it. I remember one early evening i decided to ride my rental bike down to the south end. I stopped at a Mexican food stand to get eats before my long journey to explore the south end & I told the people I was from east coast & told them I was going to check out the southern end & they all (3 workers) literally stopped what they were doing, looked at me with the most awkward silence until one of em said, "don't go down there or you'll get robbed and or killed" They all agreed & told me to never go past the pier. They then pointed to a near distant pier & they all said "Never go past there at night & don't go past there in the day unless in a large group" 2 customers in line overheard them & they even said "never go to the south end. You'll get killed" And I'm very healthy, strong, and great shape still & I was 28 at the time and in even better shape so it's not like I was an old man or lady. I had 5 people from the area right then and there tell me to not go past a certain point or certain death or assault awaited me. They said it's controlled by cartel gangs & if you're not hispanic, they'll at the very least all jump u and rob u. I'm like "is this is America?" Well not out there. It's a 3rd world hell hole in many parts. I think San Diego is like the only place that resembles America out there, but it's so expensive to go there. I guess the rich people keep the values way up to high to allow the 3rd world human maggots & cockroaches from infesting it.

There was a lot of restaurants growth. Mcdees and a Dunkin Donuts midtown. Wawa grad your deli and coffee. A dry county. No alcohol sales in Ocean City. Great drive locally. Gives you the beach day song getaway.

Southside Johnny grew up in Ocean Grove... a dry town. Ocean City has those damn weird breakers on the beach. And he didn't pay a fee. Damn , I miss the shore out of season.

Area there places you can rinse off that is not so expensive? Are pop up tents allowed? Where can you get beach tags at the beach?
@abbiebewalder3 жыл бұрын
you can rinse off at your house. pop up tents are allowed on certain streets. you can get beach tags at every entrance (every street)
@jackseward77792 жыл бұрын
Were the hated beach tags in effect? P.S. I think you mean Wildwood. P.P.S. Ocean City, MD, is larger than its compatriot in NJ.

During this pandemic, I thought I'd get my kids excited about going to our favorite place and watch a decent video on it. I'm a 45 yr Ocean City NJ vacationer & have strong feelings about this beach. Im kind of insulted about your comments ..amusements and golf are generic, Stop calling it Ocean Beach! I mean where are you from? And Belmont? Its Bellmawr! You've never heard of Ocean City NJ? Its been America's Greatest FAMILY Resort for years. FAMILY meaning dry town & things to do for all ages. No drinking. And the intercom guy said btw that its America's Greatest FAMILY Resort. Its been voted that. Not just an opinion. What the heck is Waywood? Do you mean Wildwood? I'm cringing just hearing you. If you're going by what you've been told, you should NOT make videos on places you know NOTHING about.
