Just got the 7'2 rod and the 3500 sabalos reel. First catch on it was a 28" bonnethead shark. Definitely handled it great. Love this combo already

Thank you Blair. Seemed like there was something holding that sinker on the line and stopping it anywhere you wanted to. I must have looked at this video a hundred times and that weight was stopping on your line and not going down to your hook like a knocker rig does. And there was no swivel showing. And that’s why your guide called it something else. I will dissect this video until I can figure out this setup. I am just trying to learn and to be successful in my fishing. If your guide happens to see this I would appreciate an answer to this. Thank you

Capt. Blair, can you explain the sinker that you used in this episode. What it was and how it is attached and how it slides. Thank you. By the way. Great vids. Keep it up.

Thank you Blair. My question is how does the sinker stop on your line. What makes it stop instead of just sliding up and down. Thank you

Love the videos Blair- Quick question- I'm really starting to love the longer rods from 30ton blanks...What blanks are your rods made from? I'm interested in looking into a couple 8 footers but can't tell by the descriptions how they compare...
What you were saying about how you hold a redfish. I had a red slice the tip off my pinky finger with his gill plate. It was bad.

Always watch out for the gill plate!

Ok Captain Blair, please take a look at this and answer my question....this is driving me absolutely crazy. I need to know the type of sinker you were using that slides back and forth and locks in place. What is it, what is it called, and where do you get it. Man I sure would appreciate it if you respond sir. Just trying to learn and Absorb the knowledge. Thank you

J P knocker rig - egg sinker on fluoro with swivel. Tie swivel between braid and fluoro add weight and hook. The weight will slide between hook and swivel.

Can somebody comment on my question and let me know what type of sliding sinker he is using in this video in the rig description. I really appreciate. Thank you guys. Appreciate it a lot.
@FinFlyFishingCharters Жыл бұрын
Sorry just saw this use any egg weight, feed your leader through one end then run it back through again from the end you stuck it through! Now you can adjust how far up or down you want your sinker
