Yoy should use that at silverlake in a video i used it today with a crappie jig i naled them crappie i also had a bass but the guy who helped you with that carp on the rock i told his brother i only had 2 lb test and his brother grabbed my line when i told him not to so my line snapped

Saltwater line set up always woks...signal swivel. ...bottom loop..lead line...top loop...hook line...this way...you'll lose lead but not your hook or fish...mahalos 😎 👍

Yeah, but can you fish off those battleships? I like the spinner micro pen rod, but the big reel kind of detracts from the whole 'stick it in your pocket' thing. On the plus side, I got mine in pink. Here, our nuisance fish are sea robins. Ugly last fish was ugly, poor thing.

Take a look at "totally awesome fishing"-channel, they were shark fishing with this rod (just a new stronger line, same reel) it works, so don't worry about these small fish ;)
