I inherited a malibu 2 kayak that I want to upgrade the seat and your video gave me a great idea on how to mount it with that aluminum frame you built. That is a sweet kayak you got and looks like you got a big space for a decent size cooler and other storage

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I have the same yak and love it except I can't last more than a few hours on it (even with a seat pad). Been thinking of a seat upgrade such as this to get my butt up higher than my knees for more comfort. Your video has me motivated to git er done.👍👍

I have exact same kayak in yellow. Did you ever do a follow up video on how stable the kayak was now that you’ve raised up the center of gravity? Is it really wobbly or still stable?
