It's cool how that river pops up from underground and creates such a nice green oasis. Motorcycle trips are a blast.

Man, seeing that geared-up bike and those roads... so incredible! Cool how you can experience the ocean and the desert in a short time. Interesting and well-spoken commentary as always. Yikes, look at those gas prices! Good to see some familiar places.

thanks! yeah this actually does give you an idea what about 1/3 of CA looks like, the coast, central valley and a good piece of desert... that central valley is Huge and it all looks like what you saw/ nothing hahaha /// there are so many varied terrains and this doesnt cover the mtns or forests but i show those in other videos

only a little DV but enough desert to keep you happy hooray! we made it as far as you did up owl hole last week, barely/ that gravel was nuts.. video soon, youll like that one. i might borrow a frame from yours to show the gravel. we were literally afraid to stop rolling through there.

@@potatothorn Glad you made it back from Owl Hole and lived to tell about it! My videos are not copyrighted so use whatever you want any time. That hot shower and warm pool at The Oasis is a great way to end a long hiking day in Death Valley, even at $14 for a day pass. I rarely have to wait in line for one of the two showers. BTW showers at SPW and PSR are only five bucks.

@@DeathValleyDazedthanks for use of a frame!! and yeah i know- i often use SPW but this time i came in from the south and felt like eating at FC.. SP usually gives me the pass for free, once during covid the lady gave me a hard time about not being a guest but still sold me the pass/ they're very nice over there, and extra nice in the summer when i am on the bike.. .they know i need it... i just didnt feel like riding the extra miles this trip but generally if SPW saloon is open, i eat and swim there.

Awesome video! Nice to see some ocean scenes in this one. Would have enjoyed seeing what some of your camp sites looked like. Definitely some “big nothing” out there in a lot of places...vast spaces of nothing. For those of us from the East its hard to comprehend because we have very few places that can compare. Great video, my friend. The footage from the bike was fine, even the “jittery” scenes were very watchable.

Yeah these HUGE views get addicting and are tough to quantify... LOng long views.. so many square miles! ... so what i can tell you is i havent decided how to share camp with you all just yet because well/ it is on private land.. for this trip i was able to use our camp as a base and do day trips so i was at the same place every night- actually the main reason we dont make many videos lately is all our trips are to the same part of the desert, our own little piece of it... I'll figure out how to share something without giving away too much sometime in the not too distant future

I probably should have read the description BEFORE I got excited about the fuel prices! 🤦‍♂ Fun stuff! Thanks for the ride-a-long! Don't be lane splitting, sorry, lane "filtering", if you ever come North of the border. OrEgon LE does NOT like that kind of "aggressive, unsafe" driving. Early last year the state legislators passed a bill that would allow it, but the Governor vetoed it. I still move over in the lane so bikes can get by me.
@potatothorn
@potatothorn 2 жыл бұрын
yeah i dont know what i would do in another state/ lane splitting is second nature here// yeah that was before ukraine.. gas is finally coming down some but still insane high/// it's been rough in CA since last summer really
