Fantastic episode again guys, thanks for the many hours of entertainment and the professional presentations. I haven't looked below but there will have been plenty of advice on how to say BAR CALD IN (Barcaldine). I am playing catch up, big time, started at the beginning two weeks back and arrived at episode 55 already. Can't wait to catch up, then wait for your weekly episode.

Thanks for another episode. You missed a fantastic camp site when you passed Lara Wetlands. I was hoping you would stop there. You need to go back the story, the history and location is great. We stayed 4 nights last year around the time you went by. This year we are planning on spending 10 nights there. Also Charleville Bush Camp was a great place to stay.

We really wis we could have stopped there too!! Every one raves about Lara WL. We will definitely get back there at some point 👍😊 we really want to go back to Charleville as well - so many great stories in these places - enjoy your travels and take care Cheers, Paul & Katie (and Jasper!)

Another great episode guys! I am binge watching your channel! I am loving the Capricornia series as I used to live in Rocky when I worked at CQU, and it is wonderful to relive all the wonderful places again through your channel and through your eyes! According to Peter Byrne who was the channel 9 weather man when I lived in Rocky, he pronounced Barcaldine as 'Baa-cawl-dn', so that is how I pronounce it! Also wonderful to hear how you both met at Australia Zoo and that you have kept in touch with the lovely Bob Irwin! Best wishes! :)

Hi Jo! Oh that’s so awesome and we’re so happy you found us! Gee we love that Capricorn region too....one of our favourite destinations in Australia, with so much on offer! You can’t beat those incredible islands, the weather is perfect and we love exploring inland too around Sapphire and Emerald.

My daughter has just come back from Charleville last week. She stayed at the Evening Star Tourist Park, about 8km West of the town. They have their own telescope set-up and resident astronomer who used to work at the Cosmos Centre. Also great entertainment and meals available. She thinks the place is fantastic and is trying to talk the whole family into going back out there soon. Might be an idea for your return visit.

U R lucky to find a campspot like that coz they had a similar good camping spot at Rockhampton and they always get shut down coz of idiots.......Next time U head there I bet U $50 there will be all these no camping signs put up there by the council. Always happens.

Hi Karen, this spot in the picture on private land is bookable on YouCamp! Close to Barcaldine - McBrides Flowing Bore. A brilliant spot away from it all 😊👍
