Just caught up with this episode. I'm glad the fuel tip was helpful and that you enjoyed Rubern's Lagoon. Your footage looked so good, we think we need to have a couple of nights there. By now, you're probably back on the road again. Safe travels.

What a great 28 day trip . Thanks for the wonderful tag along , we have thoroughly enjoyed the ride and look forward to the next trip where ever you are heading . We are about to do a 28 (or there about ) day trip from Perth to Exmouth and back through wildflower country but certainly not the same kms as only 1500 kms to Exmouth .

This hurts me to say because I really don’t want to world to know about camping in the Western Downs Regional Council area. During COVID the council spent $squllions on their free/ low cost camping. Chinchilla Weir, Lake Broadwater, Tara Lagoon and Caliguel Lagoon next to Condamine. When we were there we even scored a free powered site at Caliguel. In fact, we made a special trip doing all of these and later went back for a week at Lake Broadwater. Congratulations to the council for these amazing facilities along with the Ruben Lagoon you stayed at that entire area is well worth spending a bit of time doing some high quality camping.

So true Ross and thank you for sharing these other campsites 🏕️ we were blown away that you could get a free camp with power!! The first we’ve seen of this in our travels and we will definitely look at your recommendations above for our next journey on the western downs 💙🇦🇺🙏🙌 safe travels 😊 P,K&J

i find driving with a van is more tyring but in the past on my own i have driven for the best part or a 24 hour stint.

Whoa! That’s a huge stint - our longest day was on the Nullarbor with quite a few cuppa breaks 10hours 😅

Wonderful episode Paul, Katie and Jasperooni ! I love your easy going presenting styles, all very inspirational, informative, fun, honest, and entertaining! Such big travel days you are completing too! I remember when living in Rocky, a day trip to Mackay was over 300 kms, and we thought nothing of it! Living back in Vic now, and can't imagine doing such big drive days, but I think the vastness of Queensland makes it seem easier in some ways to tackle the long stretches, as well as that 'can do' Queensland vibe! Thanks again for a wonderful series! :)

Thank you Jo! When we speak with overseas visitors they can’t imagine doing these distances - a couple from the UK said “you’d get from the top to the bottom of the UK doing those distances at home in a single day! 😅🇦🇺💙 Australia is so massive and so incredibly amazing 🕺

Haha 😅. 🍉🍉 re: previous van , what we can say is that when we had any issue with the van we are able to get after sales service to sort things out by taking it in the the factory so suggest if having any problems starting there, we really hope that helps 🙏
