I love the Closed caption portion. It makes the video more accessible to hearing impaired. I've watched my own CC on my videos & the CC doesn't match my words. I've been noticing that as an issue on this platform.

I love this project and the way it turned out, it's gorgeous. I could see maybe adding a thin layer of opaque white underneath the blue to prevent being able to immediately see what's inside the box and to show off that gorgeous water effect, but I also love the way it looks without it so eh.

Extremely cool and inventive technique! Do you think it would work for creating a lava effect?

I add my thanks for this well done video... question: were you able to reuse the mold?
@resinAce4 жыл бұрын
Hi, high gloss silicone moulds have a limited lifespan when used with epoxy resin. The resin will attack the surface of the silicone and it will turn dull. You should be able to get a few uses out of it though and any dull patches can be polished up with a polishing compound.

Brilliant idea. Was the silicone OK outside of the pressure pot?
@resinAce4 жыл бұрын
This type of silicone always ends up with very tiny air bubbles trapped in it if you don't de-gas or pressurise, which gives a very slight pitted effect on the sides of the resin.
@VirginiaDacus-Schmidt8 ай бұрын
I want to do this but much much larger, would this be the same method you would use, only bigger?

I don't see why not but you would need to choose a resin that is suitable for the volume being poured
