Dire, I actually really respect your build here, good choice of blocks and just the right amount of Terra forming to bridge the natural shape and the industrialization. Probably one of the most a esthetically pleasing things I've seen from you!
@mikethemuffinman3 жыл бұрын
I think that the way you're building so far (haphazardly retrofitting builds into previous spaces) is producing some of the most interesting builds I've ever seen you make. Personally, I really like when bases are kinda cramped and messy looking, ESPECIALLY when the other option is a gigantic room with a couple tiny builds just kinda stuck in at the edges. If you keep going this way, retrofitting builds into locations and trying to fit everything into a small space, I think you'll end up with an overall interesting looking structure that can be spruced up with minor detailing (like occasionally making actual doorways) into something pretty special.

Looks great! I was skeptical at first, but the results speak for themselves. I like what you did with the elevators, I was thinking do basements and as you get deeper glass walls. With that sheer face you could add an entryway so you could have ready access to your out buildings. Yes plural, buildings; consider specialized dedicated island buildings around your central island. I believe if you put a liquid trash can on the lava production it shouldn't stop running.

Ohh, look at Dire getting all fancy with modern building! :) If I shaped the island like that, I'd use that flat wall (I was thinking the other side. heh) as a dark glass window into a mob farm, or maybe the pipes from the sluices going into the hillside for processing (and leave it open, with a border block on the interior - depth is key, too). It would at least break up the flatness a little bit., or maybe the pipes from the sluices going into the hillside for processing
