For mystical agriculture crafting, I always like to just export inferium into a RFTools crafter to autocraft it into the top tier, and then teach Refined Storage to craft down. You'll never have more than a couple extra mid-tier essences around, and you safe a ton on storage room for inferium

For the wool colors you should be able to put on the blue drawer upgrade, made from lapis. It auto-converts similarly tagged items. So white wool placed in the drawer should force any wool into white wool and add it to the white wool drawer.

Dire you can put speed upgrades in the refined storage crafters to make them faster. with 4 speed upgrades the base crafter is as fast as the diamond crafter.

would be alot more efficient to just autocraft all the inferium to the highest tier, then set up auto crafting recipes going backwards instead of what you've done

I do this. I also use a detector to keep some inferium in the system in case I need to craft with it.

I was going to comment the exact same thing, not only it saves space in the disks since it's more compacted, you also just need an importer and an exporter on the crafter. The diamond crafter you save this way can be used to make the backward recipes (which instead of being fast become literally instantaneous)

You should only get five colors of wool types from naturally spawned sheep. They are black, white, brown, grey, and pink. In case you want to prepare for them.

Dire, there are a few of the trinkets that help with the annoying Phantoms. There is a trinket that sets any mob on fire that targets you. Similarly, there is one that withers and one that poisons any mob that targets you. These proved to be very useful because as soon as the Phantoms target you (before they even get close to you), they immediately start burning and taking damage. Because they are taking damage, they run away. Thus, they never actually attack you and you can just ignore them.

He records in batches so it is usually at least 5-6 eps before he acknowledges an answer if he asks a question. He reads the comments but doesn't acknowledge them at all if he didn't ask for something. He instead just "suddenly figures something out" a whole lot. Point in case, when he figured out that the blue magma was a thing and it was faster.......... wasn't even subtle. Edit:spelling

Hey, Dire, cool thing about the RS crafters: Even if you put them on a machine, if it's a crafting pattern it'll work anywhere. You can put it in a machine's processing crafter and it'll still do the crafting job.

Hey Dire, that's how I approach with essences. I compress all basic essence into blocks (9->1), and continuously transform them up to insanium blocks with that crafter, and only teach my refined storage how to quickly uncraft them back from blocks and down grades. This is much more effective related to speed and storage space.

Agree that Vex suck. They just discourage 2 parts of the game that were fun: staying up at night fighting mobs, and exploring away from your base. You can take a bed when exploring but you probably don't want to use it as it will set your spawn and a compass will just guide you back to that bed not your base.

To turn off the cursed earth, just exchanger from underneath so you don't have to run into a dangerous room. Keep a block of dirt around and you can set the exchanger and hop down, takes 3 seconds

Dire, see if the sleep charm is in the pack, if it is and if you can craft it you won't have to worry about phantoms anymore (and it makes you sleep almost instantly)

Put a block under glass connected to the pad of blurrsed earth. That way it will spread without being affect by light, and will Regen even if the whole pad becomes dirt

You should just craft all your essences to supremium with internalC, keeping it in the crafter until it's exported as supremium. Then just uncraft to the appropriate level needed.

I think i know how you can turn blursed earth on and off, First place blursed earth in such a way that mobs can't spawn on it, but the light doesn't reach it, Now you have dirt placed near it, so the blursed earth spreads, but have the dirt be in range of light, so that you can turn it off, by destroying the blurse that can spawn mobs. only issue is that you need to wait for it too spread, but that problem should be mitigateable by making a bigger mobfarm.

Direwolf, those creatures that attack you when you forget to sleep are called Phantoms. Not sleeping is good because then you can farm them for their scales. You can use their scales to make slow falling potions and to repair elytra. (The more you know!!) They are good for vanilla so not just a good idea in theory, only if you're talking about modded.

Pistons lowering blocks from the roof do fill the spawn room. Refined storage placing blocks in the room. And picking them up? Couple complex methods but it'd be an interesting build.

Dire you can speed and stack upgrade the crafters!!! Solves the insertion bottleneck, I was using a single crafter to feed a fully upgraded ultimate smelting factory

You can also use 2 rftools builders to toggle the cursed earth. One Builder to place the earth and the other as a quarry to dig it back up

If you increase the range add-ons for the crusher and mob slaughter factory you will get drowned and aquatic mobs as well.

Just a note the mobile masher from mob grinding utility produces liquid xp like the grinder and you can add heading looting and flame and get cooked meats from the blursed earth

You could put stairs down to underneath the mob farm for safer access when you swap blocks to turn it off.

Dire you can put water from a dispenser over the different mob spawning earth. It doesn’t destroy the earth and prevents mob spawning

Eh, all you really do is feed it urananite, slap a bucket of water in, and set up some simple autocrafting for dry ice. It's not particularly glamorous. I personally found it much more interesting, and effective, to set up an array of Mekanism Gas Burning Generators. I was generating a cool 2m rf/t, which was more than enough to get me to the draconic reactor.

Not that he’ll read this anyways, but, you do not need to sleep to stop phantoms, you only need to lay in your bed for a split second, and then back out of it is fine, they will stop and their timer resets.

Dire I have a question for a setup i need help with (I know you'll probably make it later but I'm trying to figure this out and someone helping me broke their setup in an attempt to help me), can you explain/show how to automate draconic evolution's fusion crafter with Xnet. I have items outputting to the injectors; however, since you have to set the crafter to only work on a redstone pulse i need Xnet to read the injector core then send a redstone pulse to the crafter. Please help Dire.

Try placing core,crafter & interface on floor touching each other in a line, place a comparator on floor facing into crafter, loop item pipez on floor from core tight around comparator to interface, extracting from core, there's a setting inside crafter, maybe top right, clicking through menu till you get to something like send next set, can't remember exactly what it says but, don't know if this works, but hope it helps somehow.

Haven’t messed w turning cursed on/off but with my blessed earth I can easily turn it off with a block on top. A piston setup can put it on a switch

If I remember correctly it was pretty fast as it was with the normal recipe with master crystal directly into the refined storage without the RF tools crafter. Why bother with the complication?

You could put both mob killing machines one block down, since both of them can kill mobs one or two blocks above them. So even if one machine is "in the floor", it can keep killing all the mobs. Spiders should not get up to the ceiling fast enough Edit: and as almost all the others here said: dispenser and water = magic

I have a lost trinket that sets on fire anything that targets me, I am annoyed by phantoms no longer. Also, you should only get 3 colors of wool...white, black, and gray. That's all I've ever gotten. Also, wouldn't it be faster and less complicated to just send all of the inferium into the RFTools crafter as it gets harvested to turn it into insanium automatically and then teach the system how to reverse the process to craft the color of essence you need?

I've always used the auto crafter to condense the essence and only output the highest level. Then use the crafter to break them down later. Itll save space lol

I can't wait until Dire realizes he has to go and reset all of the fluid connections in the Xnet controller because he swapped over the Mob Crusher and the Mob Slaughter Factory. Come to think of it, he should make sure all the other connections are set properly while he's in there.

He doesn't have to reset the fluid connectors... He had fluid being pulled from both the Crusher and Slaughter Factory on the same Xnet channel. He was filtering the fluid input into the tanks, which never changed.

Your RF storage lookin like it's gettin a little iffy, might want a couple more disks just to be safe, so you don't worry about it later on. I usually just fill up my entire disk drive immediately so I don't have to worry for a looonnnggg time. Also! Now that you have Insanium Essence, I'd swap out the farmland on the Netherite seed for insanium farmland so that you have even more Netherite at your disposal even faster.
