Dire, little tip, but you don't have to have every insertion pipe be a color; you can make one pipe much closer be that color and the items that are painted a different color wouldn't be able to go that way anyway. Edit: Also, Dire, have you not heard of a WRENCH? They're these wonderful items that can *rotate* blocks for you if you place them wrong!

Automation idea I've had for a while to work around the case where different crafts need the same items - have the crafter send another object into the crafting system along with the items needed for crafting (maybe a renamed paper item or something) that's specific to the craft, and use that item to tell the system what to craft. When crafting is complete, send the control item back to the refined storage system. Problem solved!

22:00 I remember doing this setup the last time I played MC a few years ago, ied got an entire conveyer line of pipes sorting my ore quoding system it was quite fun if a little messy on the direwire but that’s only if you open the door to the backroom were all the pipes for gases and liquids were going to x y and z mek blocks to wash the ore and dirty dust and so on.

Wonder if the recipes changed to not have the same ingredients in the outer crafters as there are in the central node. I can't remember the version but that was a problem before IIRC for a more general autocrafting solution.

The wither builder and draconic evolution mob slayer is fast enough that you can just craft nether stars on demand by sending 4 soul sand and 3 skulls to the wither builder every time you want a star. It takes less time than your average mechanism machine to craft a single item. If that is too complicated then just export soul sand and wither skulls to the wither builder and it will infinitely farm nether stars

I don't understand why would you do a "on demand" system for an item you probably gonna need alot, I'd just make it run forever, without any limits, it's not like you can have enough nether stars, especially assuming that you'll need it in the future

I prefer to set this up to craft once inventory goes under a certain amount, say 100 nether stars. If inventory is above 100, don't spawn withers. Once it goes under 100, start spawning until it goes back over. That way you have a buffer of nether stars for large crafting jobs that you don't have to wait on.

I use an array of RS requesters to ensure I have a base amount of various different items on hand. So could definitely do that for nether stars too. I ensure I have 64 of things like planks, glass, steel, etc. usually 16 of things like the various mekanism components. System just background crafts more whenever I go below the thresholds.

You could separate the importer from the wither builder by 1 block by placing a barrel between them, dump the items into the barrel, then have the wither builder pull from that side. That would be enough of a buffer to separate the block from the redstone signal.

The pulse setup is ok*(in order to start the next craft in case you do multiple rounds of same recipe) everything else even the things that will require 5 total chaos shards(1 in the fusion crafter) can be done with xnet ... but you have to make 2 item channels(1 for priority - putting 99 ... or highest priority on the fusion crafting - and 2 for blacklisting*this is a must or else random items will go to other injectors randomly even if u give it specific priority* all items that get into the fusion crafting)

X-Net connectors only seem to show if the block next to them can take in items or fluids (I haven't checked gasses, but I presume it will show then as well). If the target only takes in/puts out redstone, then the connectors only show up once that connector is on the redstone network, I am unsure why. I found that out the hard way when I was making one of my mob farms in this pack.

you can just use a crafter set to insert on pulse, and then use a comparator to pulse when the star is imported. then you can make stars on-demand in RS.

The wither blocks are hanging out because the wither builder placement is off (It toggles between missing 1 head and missing two)
